The UGE is sorely in need of staffers to keep the space open during the day!
Looking for a way to get involved at the UGE but not sure where to start?
Looking for an excuse to hang out with sweet folks, read cool books, and sit on
comfy couches?
Look no forward! Become a staffer at the UGE!
Staffers keep the space open, help people check out books from the UGE library,
help people purchase things from the coop, and assist people in navigating
other resources the UGE offers. The UGE is open from 10am-4pm weekdays, and
staffers are expected to commit to at least 1 hour per week.
Sunday October 2rd 11am-3pm
-Anti-Oppression Workshop
-Trans Allyship 101
-Active Listening
@QPIRG McGill! 3647 University, at des Pins. NOT IN THE UGE!
Monday October 3rd for 1 hr or less, time tba!
-Learn the ropes at the UGE! – how to check books out, how to navigate the
coop, etc.
IN THE UGE! 3480 MacTavish, 4th floor, room 413.
In order to become a staffer, you must sit through all workshops. If you cannot
make it on Monday, let us know, and we can meet with you another time to show
you the ropes! There will be food both days!
